The Caterham Funeral Parlour opened for business recently, marking the occasion with a launch event held on Saturday 2nd July. Visitors had the opportunity to meet Russell and Jennifer Holt, the owners, look around the premises and learn more about the range of funerals they provide. Russell and Jennifer live just down the road in Kenley with their young children and Russell is pleased to have found premises for their new business so close to home. "I used to work in the family funeral business in North London, which was a long commute," said Russell. "I didn't get to see my children until after they had gone to bed most evenings, so I felt the time was right to open the Caterham business." The couple have put a lot of thought and effort into creating just the right atmosphere for their funeral parlour. The stylish decor provides pleasant and comfortable surroundings for their clients. Russell is particularly proud of the range of traditional and alternative funerals his clients can choose from. The alternative choices include unusual hearses such as a motorbike with sidecar for transporting the coffin, or a converted VW Camper Van. A custom-made coffin can also be made to the client's specifications. More information about the Caterham Funeral Parlour can be found at their website, www.caterhamfuneralparlour. co.uk or call the parlour on 01883 347660. |
