Star Stepping out for charity
Published: Friday, 28 December 2012 06:53

In the run up to Christmas, local children put on their pyjamas and managed to raise £246.00 for the charity DEBRA, who offer support to those affected by the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). The money received by DEBRA goes towards caring for those with EB and also supports research into developing effective treatments.

All the members of Star Steppers classes in Caterham, Reigate, Cheam, Stoneleigh and Oxshott came to class in their pyjamas and generously donated money to the charity.

Hannah Everitt, one of the directors of Star Steppers said: "It was a lot of fun! There was a wide array of wonderful nightwear - from bunny-suits to Spiderman pyjamas. It was great to do something a bit different to make a difference."

To find out more about DEBRA or to make a donation please visit www.debra.org. uk and for more information about Star Steppers dance, drama and singing classes please contact Anna and Hannah on 07445 030500, e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots.
