Love was in the air when de Stafford School Council held a Valentine's disco on the 17th February to raise money for the school. Over 100 students attended the evening celebrations, which included performances from the school dance group, music from a live DJ and a heart-shaped net of pink balloons which were released over the dance floor. The celebrations ended with a performance from Elesha Moses, who was one of Louis Walsh's boot camp contestants in last year's X Factor. Elesha sang a variety of songs to a delighted audience, before she was presented with a bouquet of flowers. Year seven de Stafford student, Sam McCarthy-King said: "Elesha was amazing and everyone loved her performance. It's been a really enjoyable evening with a fun atmosphere. I hope they do this again next year, everyone's had a great time!" |
