On Tuesday 5th April students from the Reigate School of Art, Design and Media teamed up with fitness coach Steve Robertson and his class to film a promotional DVD as part of their coursework. Steve, from Caterham, is the founder of S.T.O.M.P., a unique 'High Intensity Interval' training program that he is looking to expand across the UK. Steve said: "The DVD will be a great advertising tool to help S.T.O.M.P. go forward. It is fantastic teaming up with the students. I don't have to worry about them, they just do their own thing! They know that this UK wide project will look great on their CV." The Film and TV students had access to high quality equipment and filmed the training routine from four different camera angles. Lecturer, Luke Quinn, said: "We like to give the students as much experience with these live projects as possible. This multi-camera shoot enables the students to gain valuable experience of live filming." Robert Jones, head of Reigate School of Art, Design and Media, said: "This is just one of our students' exciting projects in the local community. They are also helping to organise live acts at the Caterham Festival. It is hard to get kids into the film and TV industry and we can see this drive for them to get experience in real projects is paying off." The exciting S.T.O.M.P. fitness program is coming to Caterham soon. For more information see the advertisement below. www.stompfitness.co.uk |
