Hillcroft Sure Start moves to bigger premises
Published: Wednesday, 19 September 2012 02:11

Hillcroft Sure Start Children’s Centre in Caterhamon- the-Hill is delighted to announce the expansion of their services to a new location in The Village. The new premises are on the first floor of The Old Naafi above Little Treasures Nursery opposite The Arc on Weston Drive.

The centre had outgrown its previous venue at Hillcroft School due to the popularity of its sessions. The room at Hillcroft School will continue to provide information and advice weekly and will have an Outreach Worker available to meet with parents.

Lydia Parker, Centre Manager said: “The move ensures access for all the community and the four rooms and office space allows us to provide new and exciting projects for more people. Our team of Midwives and Health Visitors also provide Baby Clinics and Discharge Clinics that enjoy their own dedicated enhanced space. We are looking forward to working closely with The Arc in the future.”

Sure Start centres are aimed at families with children under five and offer a variety of services and activities. Hillcroft currently runs Stay and Play, Baby Club and Childminders sessions on different days of the week and are hoping to offer afternoon activities including Messy Play and Singalong sessions.
