Premium pet nutritionists, Eukanuba, has donated over 150 bags of dog food to Valgray’s Border Collie & Animal Rescue charity as part of their ongoing commitment to animal welfare.
The charity that prides itself on rescuing, recovering and rehoming unwanted dogs, will benefit from the generous donation of Eukanuba dog food. Eukanuba provides 100% complete and balanced high quality nutrition tailored to fuel a dog through each life stage.
Giuliano Buccino, Head of Marketing for EUKANUBA UK and Ireland comments: “We are delighted to be able to support the Valgray’s Border Collie & Animal Rescue charity by feeding their brave rescue dogs. With hundreds of dogs in need of good homes and care, it’s so important that charities are given the support they need to flourish. The team at Valgray’s work relentlessly to rehome and protect dogs in vulnerable situations and we wanted not only to make a large food donation but also to raise awareness of the work they do and show our support.”
Many of the dogs that come to the rescue centre are in need of care and rehabilitation so by providing them with appropriate high quality nutrition they can build strength to live a long, healthy and happy life. The impact of Eukanuba along with appropriate care was discovered over a 10 + year observation and the results were unprecedented – nearly 90%* of Labrador Retrievers fed Eukanuba, together with appropriate care, lived beyond the breed’s typical twelve years life expectancy, some of them living 30% longer.
Val Phillips, Founder of Valgray’s Border Collie & Animal Rescue commented: “We would like to thank everyone at Eukanuba for supporting our charity by giving our dogs a high quality, nutritious diet to enable them to achieve their full potential to live a long, happy and healthy life with their new family. The food donation from Eukanuba means that we can invest funds into other areas, particularly animal welfare, to enable us to help even more rescue animals that are in desperate need for a new and loving home.” |
