The big day has come at last for Prince William and Kate Middleton and celebrations are taking place across the UK to mark the very special occasion. In Caterham, the King and Queen pub in the High Street, Caterham-on-the-Hill has become 'The New King and Queen', with Will and Kate's grinning faces now adorning the pub sign! The pub is entering into the spirit of the occasion by holding a special garden party and have planned for it to be a nice day for the family. The Arc in Weston Drive is holding a Royal Wedding Craft Fair in its gallery, with family entertainment and attractions both inside the Arc and outside on the cricket green. The wedding will be screened on a giant screen and Ridge Radio will be covering the day's activities. The Whyteleafe Tavern will be buzzing all day with a street party atmosphere. There will be live entertainment on the roof of the pub, a hog roast and bouncy castle for the children. Enjoy the day! |
