On Thursday 7th July last year's Vice President of Caterham Rotary Club, David Mole, was inducted as the new President for the Rotary year 2011-2012. At the regular lunchtime meeting, the outgoing President, Mike Smith handed over the mantle to David and welcomed him to his new role.

Rotarian Jim Burton gave Mike a moving vote of thanks for an excellent year 'in the chair' that saw the club raise record sums for charity, saw club membership rise to 52 and the induction of the second woman into the club.
