On Thursday 6th October, the Tandridge Community Fund was one of the 12 local organisations to be presented with a cheque from the proceeds of this year's Oxted Rotary Pram Race. The race, held on Friday 8th July raised a staggering £9,500 in donations. The generosity of the many sponsors kept the running costs down to maximise the sum available to hand out.

The cheque presentations took place at the Crown Inn in Old Oxted, one of the local pubs that supported the event. The other organisations to receive a donation were The Woodhouse Centre, Panda Pre-School, Master Park, The Link Porter Trust, Oxted Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Kids-Out, St. John Ambulance, Oxted Football Club, Holland Sports AC, Matthew's Friends and Limpsfield CofE School.
