Pedestrian knocked down in Caterham-on-the-Hill |

Last Monday, 31st October, a 17 year-old girl was taken to St. George's Hospital in Tooting suffering from head injuries after being knocked down by a car in Westway, Caterham-on-the-Hill. At approximately 8.35pm the car, a silver Peugeot 207, was being driven along Westway towards Coulsdon Road when the driver lost control, striking the pedestrian before crashing into the Caterham Clearance Centre. The driver, a man in his thirties and his female passenger were unhurt and the pedestrian has been released from hospital. The road was closed for several hours while police carried out their investigations. No arrests have been made.
