Additional volunteers are being sought to form a Community Partnership with Surrey County Council to keep Warlingham Library open. The council would offer training and will provide many of the library's needs including the premises, IT systems and the books. Questionnaires have been delivered to many Warlingham households asking residents what they would like to see from their library service in the future. The questionnaire asks if residents are interested in being a volunteer and also if they are prepared to see their Parish Council precept increased to help with financing the library. Warlingham residents are asked to return their completed questionnaires to the library as soon as possible. If anyone has not received a questionnaire or would like a completed questionnaire collected, please call David Cooley on 01883 626907. |
