Palace players back Marie Curie Christmas appeal
Published: Friday, 16 December 2011 10:01

Crystal Palace players were out in festive force last week to back a Christmas appeal by Marie Curie Cancer Care. This winter, the players are spreading the Christmas spirit to urge supporters to raise vital funds for this worthwhile cause. This will ensure that as many people as possible are cared for by Marie Curie Nurses over the festive period. Every £20 raised will provide one hour of vital nursing care, at no cost to the patient or their family. Marie Curie Nurses make a huge difference to the lives of people with a terminal illness and their loved ones. The care they provide is even more important at Christmas time.

This Christmas hundreds of Marie Curie Nurses will sacrifice their own family Christmases to care for people with a terminal illness. This will ensure they can spend it surrounded by their loved ones at home.

If you wish to make a donation, please call the Surrey Fundraising Office on 01883 832648. Alternatively if you wish to find out about the many opportunities to fundraise please speak to your local fundraisers, Ros, Tracey and Yvonne on the same number.
