If you have ever wanted to do a parachute jump, now is your chance. Marie Curie Cancer Care are looking for adventurous and outgoing people to take the leap alongside Events Fundraiser Steph Crack on Saturday 26th May 2012. Steph said: "What better way to kick off the New Year than by taking on this exhilarating challenge and raising money for the dedicated Marie Curie Nurses who have been working all through the festive season. I was really nervous about signing up but now I have heard from past participants what an amazing experience it is I cannot wait to go. Please come and join me for an experience we will never forget." The charity wants 30 people to take part and support each other in this once in a lifetime experience whilst raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Participants need no previous experience and will be jumping in tandem with experienced instructors from the London School of Parachuting. Registration is £50 and Marie Curie are asking for £400 in sponsorship – then you get to jump for free! All money raised will go towards continuing the high quality of care Marie Curie Cancer Care offer to terminally ill patients and families, at home or in one of their hospices.
