On Sunday 12th February, The Arc in Weston Drive, Caterham-on-the-Hill will be celebrating its second birthday. Two years have flown by since the community arts centre re-opened its doors after nine months of closure. To celebrate, The Arc is holding a 'Have A Go Day' between 10am-5pm to showcase the wide variety of classes and activities the venue has on offer. All the classes are free to try and have been set at short 30 minute classes so you, your children, friends and family can try a range of different things throughout the day. Classes include drama, dance, art, fitness, Zumba, ballet and even comedy. There are classes for all ages plus art and craft activities all day too. Also during the day, The Arc's popular soft play will be open and the café will be serving a range of delicious food and drink. While you are there, take advantage of The Arc's special 10% off on Parties for one day only and special Membership rates. There will also be a mass of stalls and games in the gallery for you to browse and enjoy. The Arc's associate director Andy Edmeads said: "We have achieved so much in such a small space of time so it will be great to celebrate and showcase all we do at The Arc. Many people in the area know us for our Soft Play centre but not so much for our excellent programme of classes or innovative theatre productions. The more people we can let know about The Arc and the things we do, the more we can continue to provide for the community now and into the future."
