Golf enthusiasts have the opportunity to take part in a great annual golfing event whilst raising money for some very good causes this May. The Rotary Club of Caterham Charity Golf Day is being held on Monday 14th May at the beautiful Bletchingley Golf Club. Teams of four can register for the 18 Holes Stableford Fourball for £240 or individuals pay £60. The day will start with coffee and bacon rolls at 8am, teeing off from 9am. The cost includes a two course lunch at the conclusion of your round. Last year's Charity Golf Day raised over £4,000 for St. Catherine's Hospice and local and international Rotary charities. The sum raised was £500 more than the previous year, and Rotary hopes the proceeds will be higher again this time around. The proceeds from this year's event will be divided between the Rotary charities and The Children's Trust in Tadworth. The Children's Trust provides a range of services for children with multiple disabilities, including a residential rehabilitation service for children with brain injuries. The Trust also runs a summer holiday camp for local children with disabilities and complex health needs. For more information about the work of The Children's Trust go to www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk Further details about the Charity Golf Day and how to sign up can be found in the Rotary Club advert below. |
