On Saturday 18th February Marie Curie Cancer Care launched its Great Daffodil Appeal for London and Surrey at Crystal Palace FC. Selhurst Park was bathed in a sea of daffodils with all the players, management, catering /reception/communications/shop/booking staff and stewards sporting the charities yellow daffodil. They were definitely "Glad All Over" to wear the famous yellow pin. All the players wore the daffodils as they warmed up in their training tops on the pitch.

At half-time CPFC players Jack Holland, Alex Wynter, Ross Fitzsimmons, Quade Taylor, Kieran Woodly and Tom King were joined by The Crystal Girls, Radio DJ David Jensen, Palace Legend David Payne and past Club Secretary Chris Hassle for a photocall. Karen Green, Volunteer Press Officer for Marie Curie and local fundraisers for the charity, Danny Foley and Katie Foley from The Whitehorse also joined in with Daffodil Girls Crystal-Rose Carty (age 6) and Scarlett-Mae Carty (age 2).

The appeal is Marie Curie's biggest fundraising campaign which takes place each March. Volunteer collectors are out on the streets throughout the month asking people to wear a daffodil, in return for a donation, and support Marie Curie Nurses.

Marie Curie Nurses provide free care for terminally ill people in their own homes.

The Great Daffodil Appeal raises funds to allow patients to have the choice of where to spend their final days, surrounded by family and friends. This is why the Great

Daffodil Appeal is so important.

Donating your time to the appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people. We've got a role for everyone so, whether you've got a couple of hours or a couple of days a week to spare, please get in touch.
