In just over a week British Summer time starts. Time to look out those old trainers and sign up for a Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile for Sunday March 25th. Purley John Fisher Rugby Club is hosting the Happy Valley Mile from their club in Old Coulsdon. Participants will take part in one of three events held during the morning over one mile, three miles and six miles through the countryside around Happy Valley. They can complete their chosen event in any way they fancy. From children with their mums and dads, to experienced athletes, there's something for everyone. Some spaces are still available for the day, don't miss this opportunity to take part in this unique event for charity, just log on to sportrelief.com and enter the Happy Valley Mile. Younger runners can register on the day for a run within the confines of the rugby ground so they can take part in this amazing national fun day all in support of Sport Relief 2012. Sport Relief want to get 1 million people running on March 25th. Become one in a million and start summer by joining in the fun with many local people to raise money that will help people living here, on our doorstep, as well as across the UK and in some of the world's poorest countries. There will also be an opportunity to join in some tag rugby, a non contact form of rugby, and talk to representatives from various sports groups who will be available to give you information on how to become involved in a regular sporting activity in the local area. Sainsbury's will be present to sell Sport Relief Merchandise. … and don't forget to reset the clocks the night before!
