There is the patter of tiny paws in the Surrey Police Dog School as the latest litter of puppies was safely delivered on Friday, 2nd March and the school is inviting the public to come up with ideas for one of their names. The puppies – two girls and two boys – are the Force's fourth litter of Malinois dogs and they all need names beginning with the letter E. The names need to be short and simple. To give you an idea of what we're looking for, some of the 'D' litter names were Doyle, Deena, Dutch, Duke, Duma, Dash, Delta and Daisy. Please post your suggestions for a male puppy name on the Force's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SurreyPolice) by Sunday, 18th March. The Force's Kennel Master will compile a shortlist and a vote will be held on Facebook to pick the winning name. Don't forget, you can meet all of the puppies at the National Police Dog Trials & Family Fun Day on Sunday, 29th April at Surrey Police Headquarters, Mount Browne, Guildford.
