On Saturday 14th April, young local vocal group 'Charisma' performed at Chaldon Village Hall to raise funds for the Shooting Star CHASE Hospices. The show was called 'Magic of the Musicals' and was completely sold out - some people even stood!

One of the members of the group, Madeline Castrey, said: "It was a real musical marathon and we performed songs from 26 musicals. We raised £1,400 that evening which brings our total to just over £3,300 so we are well on our way to reaching our target of £5,000 by the end of the year."
