Having already been postponed once due to the bad weather conditions, The Moscow State Circus braved the rain and mud and set up on Westway Common in Caterham-on-the-Hill earlier this week. The circus is on its first visit to Caterham until Sunday 15th July so get along to see dancing, gymnastics, juggling and lots more entertainment. There is also a fully licensed Big Top bar and car parking nearby. Jenny Bulford from Caterham, who went to see the circus on the opening night on Wednesday, said: "We had been looking forward to the circus and were determined to get along there, despite a hail shower five minutes before we left home! I'm really glad we went, the show was great. The ground was very squelchy but we had the right footwear. We wrapped up well because we thought it might be chilly in the Big Top, but it was lovely and warm when we got in there - they had all the heaters going. When we left it was dark and the Big Top was lit up - it looked lovely" There are performances today, Friday 13th July, at 5pm and 7.45 pm, Saturday at 3pm and 7.45 pm and on Sunday at 2pm and 5pm. Tickets are available from the box office on site which is open 9am-9pm or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk Many local outlets are offering 50% off vouchers.
