Outstanding GCSE results again for Warlingham School
Published: Friday, 31 August 2012 11:48

Warlingham School's year 11 students achieved their best ever set of GCSE results with 96% of its students gaining five or more GCSEs at grade C or above and 70% of its students gaining five or more GCSEs including English and Mathematics. The school's outstanding results are a credit to the students, staff and parents who worked together relentlessly to support this incredible standard of achievement. It is the fifth successive year that results have improved.

Miss Woodhouse, Headteacher, said: "I am so proud of our year 11 students achieving so brilliantly. Our year 11 mantra of 'every grade matters' has supported this amazing set of results."

There were some outstanding individual successes:

Dariya Nikitin achieving 10 A* and 1 A grade.

George Perry achieving 3 A*; 7 As and 1 B grade.

Ella Ovenden achieving 8 A* and 5As.
