Sam Gyimah MP has been promoted to the role of Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Prime Minister.

As the Prime Minister's Parliamentary aide he will be working closely with the PM and his team at Downing Street.

Speaking after the announcement, Sam Gyimah MP commented:

"I am thrilled and excited to be taking on this new challenge."
