A fabulous, fun-filled day is promised on Saturday 15th September at Potters Music in Merstham to celebrate the refurbishment of all three shops. Owner, Emma Newton, and her team will be on hand to welcome you between 9.30am and 5.00pm at 12-18 High Street, Merstham. The Violin Room will host 'Taster Sessions' with resident violin teacher, Rachel Donaldson, for anyone keen on trying an instrument, The Music Room offers the widest selection of sheet music and gifts for miles around and Newton Guitars will display not only the broad range of instruments available for beginners and professionals alike but also has an amazing display of vintage and collectable guitars - including an ultra-rare 1956 Gibson Les Paul for anyone with the odd £14,000.00 to spend!! In addition, local guitar guru, Bob Cranham, will be on hand to show people around his new teaching studio. Bob is perhaps best known for helping Newton Faulkner to international stardom but his 35 years experience as a session guitarist can help anyone wanting to improve their playing skills. And if all that wasn't enough, there will be live music from The Archie Newton Trio, a raffle, a treasure hunt, special deals on Gibson, Fender and Epiphone guitars and FREE refreshments!!!
