Netball superstars visit Caterham School
Published: Friday, 14 September 2012 11:28

On Tuesday 12th September the Caterham School 'NetCats' received some expert coaching from two England International Netball superstars, Jo Harten and Ama Agabeze.

They both play in the Australia & New Zealand Netball League. Ama plays in the goal defense and goal keeper positions and is based in Perth, whilst Jo plays Goal Attack and Goal Shooter for Canterbury Tactix.

Head of Netball Miss Jaclyn Leach said: "Jo and Ama are currently in England preparing for the test series against Jamaica, which takes place later this month.

It was a wonderful day of energetic, inspiring and thought-provoking coaching for our girls. They were asked to use their bodies and their brains in equally demanding amounts. Jo gave our shooters some expert tips on their technique, movement and rotation, whilst Ama worked with the defence to develop their shot-marking, rebounding and their defensive partnerships within the circle. It was a truly inspirational day for all of the girls and we are looking forward to having Jo and Ama visit us again as soon as possible."
