On Sunday 18th November Sam Gyimah MP took part in the Santa Run at Queen's Park in Caterham to help raise funds for St Catherine's Hospice. Joining him was his wife, Nicky Black, and his Parliamentary team and their partners. St Catherine's Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialised end of life care and support to local people and their families, friends and carers. Speaking after the run, Mr Gyimah commented: "It was fantastic to see so many turn out and support St Catherine's Hospice, an organisation that offers essential and highly specialised end of life care in the area. "Thank you to my team and their partners who volunteered their time to run on Sunday, helping to raise essential funds for the charity. "Well done to all those involved and a particular thank you to the organisers for putting on a great event." |
