Why not make one of your New Year's Resolutions to make more use of your camera? Old Coulsdon Camera Club ('OCCC')meet each Tuesday evening (7.45pm for 8pm) in Cameron Hall, Canons Hill, Old Coulsdon. Visitors £2 (refunded on joining). OCCC member, Mike Pockney, has the following tips for winter photography: "Winter brings cold frosty nights and clear sunny days. If you look up you have bright blue skies through bare tree branches but if you look down you have wonderful miniature ice landscapes which will disappear as soon as the temperature rises. You may need to get down on your knees and use the macro function on your camera but hopefully you will find the results as good as Tony's image above." January events at OCCC 8th Caught by Digital - an illustrated talk by Nenne Van Dijk FRPS. 15th Colour print competition (round 2 of 3). 22nd Members' evening - advice and demonstrations from club members. 29th Monochrome print competition (round 2 of 3).
