Nutfield-based designer goldsmith Roger Elliott had an exciting Christmas project for his client Dame Judi Dench.

In the recent James Bond film 'Skyfall' Dame Judi, playing 'M', took four pistol shots at the villain in the exciting climax and kept the four spent cartridges as mementos. She commissioned Roger to create cufflinks from them for Christmas presents. Roger plated them in 18 carat gold, set them with beautiful fine natural rubies, made 18 carat gold chains and end bars styled as bullets and engraved with 'skyfall'.
