On Monday 11th February, parish councillor for Caterham-on-the-Hill, Sarah Burningham, was delighted to present a cheque for ￡156 to the League of Friends of Caterham Dene Hospital. The money was the proceeds of a collection from the public during the carol singing and switching on of the Christmas lights on the Cedar Tree last November.

The League of Friends (LoF) raises funds to purchase equipment for the hospital. Recently they paid for a special chair for the Walk-in Clinic to enable the clinic to perform blood transfusions.
