Local bus operator Metrobus has launched free Wi-Fi for all passengers using its route 400, which runs between Caterham, Redhill, East Surrey Hospital, Gatwick Airport, Crawley & East Grinstead. The free Wi-Fi allows users to check their e-mails, post messages to friends or catch up on the news while on the go. Route 400 passengers who have smart phones or other mobile devices are now able to connect to high speed internet for free from the comfort of their seat. Metrobus' Commercial Manager Nick Hill said, 'One good thing about travelling by bus is that you can use the time productively while you travel. Passengers using route 400 can now take full advantage of this by connecting their mobile devices to high speed internet for free.' Metrobus is trialling the Wi-Fi service for two months and will look to roll it out further if it is successful. Further information can be found at www.metrobus.co.uk/wi-fi |
