Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Bletchingley |

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses after a van collides with a wall in Bletchingley.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit spotted the collision, which had already taken place, around 1.15pm on Wednesday, 27 February, while they were driving along Castle Street.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene but the driver, believed to be sole occupant of the vehicle, a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquires are ongoing to locate the next off kin.
Officers are currently at the location while a collision investigation is carried out to establish the cause of the crash. Work is also being carried out to make the wall safe.
The collision took place in the lay-by off Castle Street which has been closed off to members of the public. There are no road closures in place and traffic is able to travel in both directions.
