Open Day and Easter Egg Hunt

On Bank Holiday Monday 1st April the park is holding an Easter Egg hunt when children will be able to explore the gardens looking for clues to find the eggs (50p per child to join the egg hunt, otherwise they are free). The Park and gardens will be open all afternoon (from 1-5pm). Free guided tours are also available. Entrance to the gardens for adults is £4.

On Sunday 7th April the Gardens at Gatton Park celebrate an Open Day, with free activities for children. The garden and parkland are open from 1-5pm. Refreshments (including hot and cold drinks) are available to purchase. Entrance £4 per adult, children free.

On Monday 8th April the Park is holding a Natural Art activity for 4–7 year olds. Children will have the opportunity to create some beautiful artwork from natural materials and have some time outside to collect and look at the natural surroundings. There are two sessions to choose from - 10am - 12noon or 1.30 – 3.30pm. The cost is £6 per child.

Wednesday 10th April will be the first Camp Building day (for 8 – 12 year olds) of 2013. The Park is a great place to build a camp in the woods and learn camp building techniques outside in the fresh air. The activity starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 4pm. The cost is £6 per child.

The popular Toddler Trails and Tales for 2-4 year olds continue on Friday 12th April with the story of 'Maisy Goes Camping' including a walk around the Park to bring the story to life. There are two sessions - 10am - 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3pm. The cost is £6 per child.
