Local businesses are being asked to support this year's Caterham Festival and have fun by entering a boat in the Caterham Round Table Boat Race this summer. The hilarious 'boat race' is the opening flagship event at the annual Street Party in Caterham-on-the-Hill which takes place this year on Sunday 2nd June. For a nominal sum of ￡30 teams can have a boat entered in the race. Boats are provided and each team can decorate their own boat in their corporate colours, or however they see fit.

The event attracts large crowds of spectators and the race is usually attended by the Chairman of Tandridge District Council and the local Town Crier. Consequently, it attracts plenty of press coverage as it is a spectacle to behold!
