Shoppers invited to visit Bowling Club Open Days
Published: Friday, 10 May 2013 10:18

On Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th May members of Caterham Bowling Club went along to Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham to promote the club to the shoppers.

There was a small display together with a supply of leaflets drawing attention to their open days in May which anyone can attend, regardless of age and physical ability.

The club is situated in Queens Park in Caterham-on-the-Hill and the green is open for play from 12 o'clock every day.

Facilities include a pavilion with a licensed bar, lounge, dining room, kitchen, changing rooms and toilets, including one for disabled members. New bowlers can enjoy six free lessons before deciding whether or not to join.

The first Open Day took place last Saturday, 5th May with another Open Day being held tomorrow, 11th May at the Queens Park club in Queens Park Road. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes. For more information call Mike Miller on 01883 622305 or Lettie Brindle on 01883 744724.

The Church Walk Shopping Centre manager, Shelley Filippi, would like to thank members of the public for their support of this event.
