On Saturday 21st November the launch of next year's Caterham Carnival took place at the offices of Mercedes-Benz Direct in Caterham Valley.

Approximately £8,000 was handed out to this year's beneficiaries who helped out at the event in June and organised fundraising events in the run-up to the Carnival.

Next year's beneficiaries will be the Caterham Sea Cadets, Chaldon Scouts, Old Caterhamians RFC under-14s and Queen's Park FC Youth Teams.

Next year's Caterham Carnival will take place on Saturday, 12th June at Westway Common, Caterham- on-the-Hill. Thousands are expected to attend to enjoy the displays, sideshows and Carnival procession.
