Ramsay Health Care UK, the owner of North Downs Hospital in Tupwood Lane, Caterham and Ashted Hospital, has won the prestigious 2013 Health Investor Award for 'Private Hospital Group of the Year'.

Ramsay won the award for its outstanding achievements in delivering private healthcare, despite a challenging and changing operating market. The judges were not only impressed by Ramsay's business growth but also by its commitment to improving the patient pathway, its investment back into its facilities and services and its consistent delivery of high quality patient care.
