The £2,500 raised at the 1k and 5k Easter Bunny Runs on 28th April has been donated to St Catherine's Hospice by the Rotary Club of Caterham. The four hundred runners and walkers also raised money for their own charities so the total of money raised is greater than the £2,500. Rotarian Richard York said: "We would like to thank all the participants who raised such a wonderful amount and if they have collected sponsorship and have not advised us then please could they email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. so we can assess the final monies collected for so many worthy Causes." Next year the event will be held on the Sunday before Easter, April 13th 2014 and again all runners will be able to raise money for their favourite charity. Caterham Rotary were very pleased to have the support of local sponsors in 2013: Surrey National Golf Club, The Caterham and District Independent, CATAX Ltd, Ross Cycles, BCL Systems, Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, HarestoneLops and Tandridge District Council.
