On Tuesday 3rd December, the CR3 Forum will be one of the groups presenting to Tandridge District Councillors on the subject of Rose & Young at a meeting being held at the Soper Hall in Caterham. The CR3 Forum will present policies formed under the Neighbourbood Plan that will apply in cases where a building is left empty for a long time.
The meeting is being held to ensure that the new Rose & Young Working Group formed by local Tandridge District Councillors will be aware of all local suggestions and to help them gather facts and information before reporting back to the Planning Committee.
Working Group Chairman, Councillor Jane Ingham said: “The group is aware residents have strong views about how the site should be developed. This is the perfect opportunity to come and tell us exactly what type of development you think would benefit the local community.” This meeting, which starts at 7pm, is open to all, but individuals and groups who would like to present to the group must contact Mandy Wilson on 01883 732975, or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. The working group was set up to review all the approaches the Council has taken to encourage the redevelopment of the Rose and Young site in Caterham. The group is also looking at future initiatives it believes the Council should carry out to progress the redevelopment of the site.
