East Surrey Liberal Democrats have chosen Whyteleafe Village Councillor and former Tandridge Councillor, David Lee, as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate again.
David came second with 14,133 votes at the last General Election with a 2% swing and the highest share of the vote for a Liberal Democrat since 1983. David Lee is a local candidate who lives in Caterham and grew up in Horley.
David says: “I intend to fight for a stronger economy and a fairer society for the whole of East Surrey. The Liberal Democrats in government have achieved a lot - from reducing working people’s tax bills by £700 to stopping child detention; from creating thousands of apprentices’ places to allowing shared parental leave. There is a lot to shout about and I will shout very loudly for East Surrey.”
