A tiny tot at the new Little Beans Play Café.

A new space in Oxted for Mums and Dads to catch up over a cup of coffee while watching their little ones play has been created in Oxted called 'Little Beans Play Café.

The café is situated at Tandridge Leisure Centre in the children’s activity room.

The space will host soft play items, toys and musical instruments for little ones, all alongside café tables for mums and dads to sit and relax whilst their children play around them. Little Beans has been set up by Katy Potter.

Katy said: “I noticed, as a new mum myself, there are very few places in Oxted and the surrounding area to meet up with friends in the winter months. Local cafés are too small for buggies and babies and the weather is too poor to meet up at the park.

A play café seemed a perfect answer to this”. Little Beans Play Café will take place on Monday afternoons from 1.30-4pm. If it is popular the Leisure Centre will look to open it more frequently. The price is £2.50 for 0-6 months and £4 for 6 months to 2 years.
