'Close-up Tompot Blenny' by Maria Kjellen. Following a successful opening to their 50th Anniversary Season, Tandridge Photographic Society ('TPS') is now well into the second half of the season. In February there are two Club Competitions starting with one for Monochrome prints (Thursday 13th February). This is followed by the ever challenging Panel Competitions (Thursday 27th February) where entrants submit a panel of three photographs.
'Filming over for the day' by Sheila Tattershaw. There is no set subject but the three photographs must complement each other in some way. On 20th February a former TPS club member Paul Shilliam is giving an illustrated talk on a Trip to Indochina. He will talk about the pleasures and pains of travel photography which will doubtless strike a chord with many photographers. If you have an interest in photography you are most welcome to get along to one of their meetings. You will quickly find yourself talking to likeminded people in a friendly atmosphere. TPS meet every Thursday at 8pm in the White Hart Barn, Godstone. Further details are on the website www.tandridgephotographicsociety.org.uk.
