Two new members for Caterham, Oxted and Godstone Lions |

Adrian Byrne, of Straw Close, Caterham and Tony Carter, of The Villa, Godstone were inducted into the club last Tuesday (11 Feb). Lion President, Fran Pavely led the enrolment procedure during the COGS monthly business meeting at the White Hart Barn in Godstone. The men were presented with their Lions badges and congratulated by fellow lions. Tony Carter was sponsored by long serving Lion Peter Drysdale and Adrian by near neighbour and equally long serving Lion Tony Skilbeck. For several months Tony, 68 and Adrian, 48 have been guests at COGS meetings and have volunteered at club fundraising events. Lion President Fran said: “Adrian and Tony did a great deal, helping out during the Christmas period to help the club with our float collection. It showed great commitment.
