The CR3 Forum are inviting the whole community to attend a Neighbourhood Plan Consultation Day. The event will take place on Wednesday 5th March at St Luke's Church in Whyteleafe from 2pm until 7pm. The CR3 Neighbourhood Plan is an opportunity to shape where we live now and in the future. Mark Bristow a local resident volunteering on the Plan said: "It is vitally important that the community has a say in the contents of the Plan which will cover the community for the next 20 years. If you have strong views on where development should or should not take place it is important that the CR3 Forum hears from you. By attending this consultation day, you will be able to identify what is important to you. For example do you want to live next door to a 24 storey tower block or perhaps even a waste incinerator? “The Neighbourhood Plan is a great way for you as a resident and a member of the community to directly influence local government policy and development of the area. If you have an opinion or great idea, please share it for the benefit of the whole community.” The CR3 Forum is currently also looking for what land may be likely to become available for development. This could be for housing, business use or even community facilities. If you have land or know of land that might be available please notify a CR3 Forum member at the Consultation Day or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
