Local resident Vivienne Newman has started a new walking group to join her on walks around Caterham and the surrounding areas.The group is called the Caterham Sunday Walkers and they meet every other week.

Vivienne said: "I thought of setting up a local walking group to meet new people who would join me on some Sunday walks to help me in training for a trek that I have registered for. I am taking part in the Iceland Fire and Ice trek over five days in July to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital."

Vivienne is also organising a fundraising Quiz Night to be held on Friday 4th April at the Old Cats Rugby Club in Park Avenue, Caterham-on-the-Hill.
