Whyteleafe residents, Bill and Liz Harper have three ducks: Primrose, Francis and son Buddy.  They have been happily swimming in the pond in the back garden of 39 Godstone Road in Whyteleafe for many years. Liz and Bill and the adjoining back gardens are experiencing a second flooding since the last one in 2000. Since the Bourne flooded this year, the ducks have been having a great time swimming in the flooded garden.

Sandbags have stopped the water from running into Bill and Liz's front garden from the flooded A22 Godstone Road which had been closed off. If the Bourne continues to flow, Primrose, Francis  and Buddy might make the journey down to Tesco in Purley!
