Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham is about to undergo a major refurbishment of the mall area. The project is due to commence on Monday 24th March. The works will replace the existing mall paving, seating, lighting, planters and drainage. The refurbishment is designed to increase the overall appearance of the centre and attract more customers to Church Walk and the town once the works are completed. It is anticipated that the project will take 24 weeks to complete from start to finish and the project is fully funded by the landlord. Further details about the refurbishment can be found on information boards that have been erected in the centre mall and at www.churchwalkcaterham.com During the refurbishment the management team will be working with their tenants and customers to minimise disruption as much as possible. As a result the mall paving is being completed in phases so access can be maintained to the centre at all usual times. Hoarding will also be erected in the mall to enable the works to be carried out at a safe distance from members of the public. Throughout the duration of the refurbishment all the shops in Church Walk will remain open for business according to their usual trading hours. Manager of Church Walk, Shelley Filippi, said: "Thank you for your cooperation and patience in advance. We hope that you will enjoy the benefits of the mall refurbishment at Church Walk Shopping Centre once the works have been completed later this year." |
