Nearly 1,000 people went along to the Party in the Park music festival at Marden Lodge School on Saturday, 15th May. Students from the Reigate School of Art had created a fabulous backdrop to this year's stage, as well as creating the Party in the Park website and working on the lighting and sound. Eight bands took to the stage to entertain the crowd and there were plenty of other attractions including trampolining, dance and drumming workshops and a karate display. Afterwards, Linda Smith from the Kestrels Sure Start Centre in the grounds of Marden Lodge School, said: "I am really pleased with how the day went. We had a good crowd even though it was on the same day as the Cup Final! The day went very smoothly and everyone had a nice, relaxing time!
