The Caterham Festival continues this weekend with 'Open Caterham' on both Saturday and Sunday and the new 'Food Festival' on Sunday. Open Caterham sees many local venues and groups open to the public, including Kenley Observatory, the beautiful garden of Tollsworth Manor Farm in Chaldon and the Caterham 7 garage in Caterham Valley, to name but a few. For a full listing go to www.caterhamfestival.org. The Food Festival on Sunday promises to be a very continental affair, with food stalls from home and abroad and local restaurants setting up stalls in Croydon Road. There will also be crafts on sale.
St. John's Church is holding a Festival Choral Evensong at 6pm on Sunday featuring the combined choirs of local churches. Entrance is free. Also on Sunday, The Arc in The Village, Caterham-on-the-Hill is hosting a 1940s Tea Dance from 5pm-9pm to include a 1940s buffet. Entrance is £12.50 and a créche is provided.
