Look who has visited The Whyteleafe Tavern!
Published: Monday, 09 June 2014 23:24

On Sunday 27th April the Whyteleafe Tavern held a very successful Family Fun Day to celebrate St. George's Day.

Entertainment included a bouncy castle, face-painting and a barbecue. Magician Ted Wroxley entertained everyone with his tricks and Mickey and Minnie Mouse sold sweets and candy floss. The event coincided with the grand opening of a new shellfish stall called 'Shrimpy the Best' on the forecourt of the Tavern.

Afterwards, landlord, Tom Dempsey, said: "It was a super day, blessed with lovely weather and it was great to see so many Whyteleafe families enjoying themselves!”

The Tavern's next Family Fun Day is being held on Father’s Day, Sunday 15th June. when the funds raised will be donated to local girl Amelia Salter, who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.
