Daffodils galore at The Chalet Open Garden Days
Published: Tuesday, 10 June 2014 00:04

The fabulous display of daffodils at The Chalet.

The daffodils were in full bloom for the two annual Open Garden days held at ‘The Chalet’ in Tupwood Lane, Caterham last April. David Gold and Lesley Manning hosted the open days to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice and the National Gardens Scheme.

Afterwards, Mr Gold said: “I am delighted to say that our Garden Open Days were fantastically successful and we managed to raise over £5,000 for St. Catherine’s Hospice and NGS. I would like to thank everyone that came along and showed their support. There were so many friends and family who gave up their time to help make it a success and I would also like to thank Andy Parr and the Windridge family for all their hard work, John Lazenby for entertaining everyone so beautifully throughout the day, to the Vintage car owners, Owls Out and About and Steve Trippit with his Birds of Prey. We hope to see you all again next year. Special thanks though go to Lesley Manning who organised the whole event wonderfully.”
