Kenley celebrates the Battle of Britain |

The RAF Kenley Air Day 2010 is on schedule for Saturday 14th August from 11am to 4pm at Kenley airfield. The event will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain during which Kenley played a significant part. Entrance will be free of charge with free parking on the airfield. A full colour souvenir brochure will be available for a small charge with a schedule of the wide range of events. The maintenance fund of the RAF Kenley Tribute will be the sole beneficiary of any surplus made on the day. The proposed flying displays will be exciting and range from model aircraft to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. A variety of vintage and historic aircraft will be on display, arriving and departing at various times during the day. Other attractions will include children's fun rides, a flight simulator and 450 Squadron ATC Band. Expect the unexpected! |
